This page contains a list of tests which exercise and demonstrate various language expression capabilities.

Each test consists of two sentences, and a description of the key distinction that should between them that should be captured in the translation.

Test Sentences

  • Action as event vs Action describing participant
    • A: "I see a man eating apple."
    • B: "I see an apple eating man."
    Key Distinction: seeing the action of eating (A) vs seeing an eater (e.g. while they're not eating) (B)
